How it works: Reorder PDF pages online

A scan may have its cover at the end or attachments between the wrong sections. Open one PDF, put the pages into the required order, and save the resulting document locally.

    Choose your PDF

    Open one document up to 50 MB and 500 pages. Thumbnail cards show both the current position and the original page number.

    Move the page cards

    Drag a thumbnail to another position. The left and right move buttons also work with touch screens and keyboards.

    Review the sequence

    Check the cover, main sections, and attachments in order. You can also rotate misplaced scans or remove unwanted pages, keeping at least one page.

    Save the organized PDF

    Choose Save PDF and download a new document. The thumbnail sequence becomes the page sequence in that file.

See original page numbers

The card position changes as you move it, while the source page number stays visible. This helps distinguish similar-looking pages.

Works without dragging

Use the move buttons on a phone or when you prefer keyboard navigation. Dragging is an alternative, not a requirement.

Keep PDF page content

Pages are rearranged without rendering them into replacement images. Scanned pages remain scans; existing text remains text.

One document, one result

This tool organizes one PDF. To insert content from another document, use Merge PDF instead.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change the order of pages in a PDF?

Open the file, move thumbnail cards into the correct sequence, then save and download the organized PDF.

Can I rearrange PDF pages on a phone?

Yes. Tap the move buttons under a thumbnail to shift it one position at a time. These controls do not depend on drag and drop.

Can I remove a blank page as well?

Yes. Use the delete button on a card or select pages and delete the selection. At least one page must remain in the document.

Are the original page labels renumbered?

The tool changes the physical page sequence. Printed numbers in the page content are not changed. Use Add page numbers to add a new visible sequence.

Does organizing invalidate a digital signature?

Editing a signed document changes its bytes and can invalidate its digital signatures. Keep the signed original and use an unsigned copy for page organization.
