DocFlip
Privacy Policy
DocFlip creates and converts documents directly on your device. This page explains what happens to selected files and when analytics is connected to the site.
Local file processing
Selected PDF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP files are processed by JavaScript in your browser. The output file is also created locally and downloaded directly to your device.
- The contents of source files and generated documents are not uploaded to a DocFlip server.
- Your browser uses device memory and temporary local URLs while working with files. They are needed only for the current converter session.
Yandex Metrica and Session Replay
The Yandex Metrica tag is loaded from Yandex servers only when its counter ID is configured for the current DocFlip deployment. If no counter ID is set, Metrica and Session Replay are not loaded.
- Technical visit data may include the page URL and title, referrer, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and anonymous identifiers stored in cookies or localStorage.
- Interaction data may include page navigation, clicks, scrolling, visit duration, and activity. Session Replay may record the visible state of a page and interface actions for later playback of the session.
- The converter interface displays the names of selected files, so those names may appear in a recording of the visible page state. DocFlip does not send the contents of those files to Metrica.
