PDF merging questions

How do I merge multiple PDFs into one file?

Add the documents, review the thumbnails, arrange pages in the preferred order, and select “Merge pages.” The finished PDF is created in your browser.

How many PDF files can I merge?

Up to 20 files per operation, with a limit of 50 MB per document and 200 MB combined.

Is page quality preserved?

Pages are copied from the source PDFs without converting them to images, so their visual quality is not reduced.

Can I change the PDF order?

Yes. Drag individual thumbnails or use the arrow buttons. The numbers on each card show the current output sequence.

Can I delete or rotate individual pages?

Yes. Select one page, a list, or a range, then delete the selection or rotate the sheets left or right before merging.

Can I merge a password-protected PDF?

No. First unlock it in an application where you are authorized to change the document.

Are bookmarks and interactive elements preserved?

The page appearance is preserved, but document-level bookmarks and some interactive features may not transfer to the new PDF.

Is it safe to merge personal documents?

DocFlip does not send PDFs to a server. Merging runs locally on your device.
